The Singapore Companies Act requires every business owner in Singapore to appoint a company secretary in Singapore within 6 months of incorporation. A company secretary must be a qualified individual under the Singapore Companies Act, so she/he would be able to ensure the company’s operation in compliance of the Companies Act. The general corporate secretarial and administrative work would be:
• Maintaining Company Minutes and Register Books;
• Drafting minutes and resolutions;
• Consultancy on secretarial and relevant statutory matters;
• Preparation of Annual General Meeting minutes;
• Submission of Annual Return and XBRL to ACRA; and
• Other substantial secretarial and administrative tasks.
